Aravinth Sadagopan has now came up with a comprehensive plan for his thesis: “Fluid-Thermal-Structural Interaction of a Control Surface in Hypersonic Flow: Numerical Simulation, Reduced-Order Modeling and Experimental Correlation”. The research has been funded by the Sandia National Labs (details here).
